"The French Mérieux Foundation and the Annecy palace has played an important role as a dialogue venue for AIDS scientists from all over the world. The foundation assigned me to document the meeting and provided me with a separate room where I could film the key note speakers.This was in the year of 2002 and the mood was more happy than before as the ARV treatment became more and more effective. Still there were many problems left, which were adressed at his meeting, around a potential AIDS vaccine.
