A film documenting the situation in Russia in 2002, highlighting the conflict between different approaches to the HIV problem.

Fernando Aiuti is an Italian Immunologist who has been working on HIV/AIDS since the early 80's. In this interview he talks about the Italian AIDS situation, sexuality education and the scientific and clinical work in the field.

This production was made as the opening film for the IV International AIDS Conference in Stockholm in June 1988. It gives a broad representation of the global AIDS situation in the late 1980's, and has a particular focus on social structures, poverty and stigma.
