American actress Sharon Stone talks about her memories of Rock Hudson and her work with amfAR. She reflects on AIDS and stigma, how to reach out to young people, and the importance of communication in order to change the sexual behaviors of young people.

Erica Chilua Missis Gonde is a counselor and teacher involved in the local HIV/AIDS response in Kafue District in the Lusaka province. In this interview she talks about women's health and the importance of health education to change male sexual behavior.

Helene Gayle is an AIDS expert who has been working in many different initiatives in the US, among them the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). She also works in President Obama's advisory group on HIV/AIDS. Here she talks about understanding and changing behaviors.

This production was made as the opening film for the IV International AIDS Conference in Stockholm in June 1988. It gives a broad representation of the global AIDS situation in the late 1980's, and has a particular focus on social structures, poverty and stigma.
