"I think it is kind of sad that a wonderful twenty years old woman feels that she need to keep her HIV status a secret because of the stigma attached to HIV in Sweden in 2005. And on the contrary, Steve wants to be open with his status. As a film maker I deeply respect both persons decisions and I just wanted to portray them as two persons of different ages, one woman and one man, both participating in the fight against HIV/AIDS. When we toured Sweden with this film, both of them participated openly to high school kids in the classroom many times. That was not a problem for her, but coming out in media is something she did avoid though." - Staffan Hildebrand
