XIX International AIDS Conference. Gretchen Neigh is an Assistant Professor in Neurology at the Emory University in Atlanta working with basic research on depression. She tells about her current work on depression in HIV positive rats and her future hopes for research in humans. She is part of the IAS and NIH lead program Creative and Novel Ideas in HIV Research (CNIHR), which is a multidiciplinary collaboration between scientist not previously involved in the HIV research with the target of bringing new thinking into the field.
