David Cooper is the Director of The Kirby Institute at the University of New South Wales. He gives a short history of AIDS from the time it was a fatal disease to a chronic, manageable condition. He also reflects on how HIV and AIDS changed his life, and the historical importance of activism. He discusses stigma, and draws parallels to the Anti-Semitism in the 1930s.
