Continuation of the interview with Elaine and her husband Hubby. They talk about their HIV diagnoses and their relationship as a married couple, about safe sex as prevention of disease progression from HIV to AIDS and workplace discrimination.

Background material

"Elaine was living with HIV and got it from her former husband who was an IV-drug user. Her baby is HIV negative. She is an example of a woman who was a faithful wife who stayed at home with the baby but got HIV anyway from her husband. She was also an AIDS activist involved in the ACT UP New York based AIDS organizaton. Elaine and her new husband Hubby died a few years after this film was shot. This is her story." - Staffan Hildebrand
