Annual HIV research conference arranged by IHV. Dr Robert Gallo holds a lecture on the history of medical research on human retrovirusess. He introduces the Japanese Professor Kiyoshi Takatsuki who early on identified t-cell leukemia in Japanese patients, which led to the discovery of HTLV-1. The French Nobel Prize winner and co-discoverer of HIV as a cause of AIDS, Luc Montagnier, also holds a speech on the early discoveries.
