A woman working with the Cambodian non-governmental organization KHANA presents the Face of AIDS film project to her colleagues and talks about the collaboration between KHANA and Face of AIDS.

This film is about the global AIDS situation. The film starts in Europe and the United States and ends up in Zimbabwe and Uganda. It tells about the global disparities of drug access, but also about the successful HIV and AIDS responses of Thailand, Cambodia and Uganda.

An agent from the AIDS NGO organization KHANA educates HIV/AIDS prevention by talking to some people and handing out information sheets on the street of Phnom Penh.

Praphan Phanupak, co-founder of the Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Center (TRC-ARC) and Professor at the Chulalongkorn University Hospital, tells about his encounter with the first AIDS patient in Thailand, about the health resources in Thailand and about stigma.

This production from 1990 debates the worldwide HIV/AIDS situation for women and children. The stigmatization of female sexuality is considered the primary reason of women's particularly exposed situation when it comes to sexually transmitted diseases.

This production was made as the opening film for the IV International AIDS Conference in Stockholm in June 1988. It gives a broad representation of the global AIDS situation in the late 1980's, and has a particular focus on social structures, poverty and stigma.

Mechai Viravaidya, also known as "Mr Condom", educates people in night clubs, bars and on the streets about the use of condoms to prevent HIV/AIDS.

A Philippine teacher talks about how Western, liberal values on sex is a threat to the youth. He also talks about tourism as an aspect of HIV transmission, and fears that the Philippine government suppresses information about AIDS to protect the tourist industry.

Dr Uthai Sudsukh, a leading thai policy maker on ministry of health and involved in the Thai national AIDS program, talks about the Thailand AIDS situation in 1988 and the current health policy.
