XVII International AIDS Conference in Mexico City. Interviews with activists from across the world, representing non-governmental organizations advocating for HIV prevention and the rights of youth.

This is a short film about the global HIV and AIDS response lead by the young generation. Youths and representatives of community networks and health care centers in Cambodia, United States, Mexico, Botswana, Russia and India talk about HIV awareness and prevention.

Hector is a gay activist involved in the prevention work towards young LGBT persons in the Zona Rosa district in Mexico City. He talks about gender roles and gay rights in Mexico and about a comic book which they hand out to young men in this square.

Young AIDS activist Ricardo Baruch talks about the international collaboration of youth activists and the AIDS situation in Mexico for LBGT persons and women in rural areas and developing countries. He also reflects on the International AIDS Conference.

Mr Subbarao is secretary of state for health in the Tamil Nadu Government in Chennai. In this interview he talks about the educational and medical work lead by the government. He talks particularly about empowering and educate women about HIV prevention.

Last part of the interview with the American AIDS activist and founder of Project Inform, Martin Delaney, in 2006. Here he talks about AIDS activism and the different stages of the antiretroviral drug development from AZT to triple combination treatment.
